When all of the teeth on the top of the bar have been sharpened, advance the chain using a glove or a rag by pulling the chain toward the end of the bar. Repeat until all the teeth on the far side of the chain have been sharpened. 4. Turn the saw around so that you are looking at the side of the chain bar with the motor to your left. Sharpen the cutter teeth on the far side of the chain, from inside to outside, or away from you (Figure 7). Lay the guide flat on the tooth with the 30º index line parallel with the chain. Repeat the process above to sharpen all of the cutter teeth on the far side of the chain. 5. After your chain has been sharpened a number of times, you may find that it does not cut as fast as you feel it should. Each cutter on your chain has a depth gauge (D) just ahead of the cutting edge (C) that determines how big a bite it can take. To check for proper depth of the cut, lay a metal straight edge across the tops of the cutting edges (Figure 8), and check the dimension indicated. This dimension should be approximately equal to the thickness of the gauge (D). If it is not, grind the chain depth gauge until the clearance is approximately equal to the thickness of the sharpening kit gauge. Be careful to maintain its shape. Do not remove more material. Keep this depth gauge setting uniform on all cutter teeth to make straight cuts. AFFILATURA DELLA CATENA 1. Posizionare la sega su una superficie piana e robusta. Per ottenere un'affilatura corretta, la tensione della catena deve essere opportunamente regolata (consultare in proposito il libretto d'istruzioni della sega a catena). Il modo migliore di eseguire l'affilatura si ha lavorando con la barra di segatura di piatto ed agendo in corrispondenza della parte centrale della stessa. 2. Posizionare la sega in modo che, guardando il lato della barra di segatura, il motore si trovi a destra. I denti sul lato esterno vengono affilati dall'interno verso l'esterno come mostrato in figura 6. Appoggiare la guida (B) sul dente in modo che le due superfici combacino e che la linea indicatrice inclinata di 30º (A) sia parallela alla catena. Mantenere la linea indicatrice allineata alla catena. Di solito, se i denti non sono stati danneggiati, sono sufficienti due o tre passate leggere. Affilare tutti i denti in eguale modo. Iniziare dai denti che presentano i danni visibili più rilevanti (ad es. intaccature o scalfitture) ed affilare tutti denti in modo uniforme. Conviene evitare una eccessiva asportazione di materiale, che avrebbe l'effetto di accorciare la durata della catena. Nota: Affilare unicamente i denti (C), non i riferimenti di profondità (D). 3. Una volta affilati tutti i denti sul lato superiore, far avanzare la catena tirandola verso l'estremità della barra mediante un guanto da lavoro o uno straccio. Ripetere queste operazioni fino a che tutti i denti sul lato esterno sono stati affilati. 4. Ribaltare quindi la sega in modo che, guardando il lato della barra di segatura, il motore si trovi a sinistra . Affilare i denti sul lato esterno della catena dall'interno verso l'esterno, ovvero allontanandosi dalla propria persona (figura 7). Appoggiare la guida sul dente in modo che le due superfici combacino e che la linea indicatrice inclinata di 30º sia parallela alla catena. Ripetere queste operazioni fino a che tutti i denti sul lato esterno sono stati affilati. 5. Dopo che la catena ha subito un certo numero di affilature, si può verificare che la sua efficienza di taglio diminuisce. Ogni dente della catena è dotato di un riferimento di profondità (D) posizionato subito prima dello spigolo tagliente (C) che determina di quanto il dente può tagliare. Per verificare se la profondità di taglio è corretta, appoggiare una riga metallica sulle estremità taglienti dei denti (figura 8), e controllare la dimensione indicata. Tale dimensione dovrebbe essere circa uguale allo spessore del riferimento di profondità (D). Se così non fosse, occorre mollare il riferimento di profondità della catena finché la differenza tra altezza del dente e altezza del riferimento è approssimativamente uguale allo spessore dell'indicatore contenuto nel kit di affilatura. Attenzione a mantenere la forma del riferimento e a non asportare materiale in eccesso. Affinché i tagli risultino diritti, occorre che la regolazione dei predetti riferimenti di profondità venga mantenuta quanto più possibile uniforme. CONSERVARE QUESTE ISTRUZIONI STAZIONE DI LAVORO a. Passen Sie mit der richtigen Seite des Winkelanschlags (A) die Führung so an, dass sie in Relation zu dem Schleifstein richtig positioniert ist, und ziehen Sie die Schrauben fest.
